Lost and found facts

Every day something gets lost. No matter who you are, young or old, poor or rich, he or she, nobody or somebody, we are all losing our stuff all the time. All over the world millions of objects go missing. We're not talking about stolen stuff, we're talking about the simple act of forgetting something small at the coffee shop, or on the counter at the store. Even you - yes you who are reading this post lost something in the past year.  Just think about it.. did you lose your phone, iPod, wallet, money, keys, documents, passport, ID card,  USB flash drive, digital camera, bag, favorite pen, car keys, notebook, tablet, computer, Bluetooth earphone and it can go on and on and on. The first thing that happens when you realize that something is missing is a PANIC ATTACK. No matter what are you doing at that time, everything stops and you start the big quest of searching for the thing that you lost. And this quest can be a long journey where at the end you don't find your lost item.

So let's calculate what happens when you lost something:

  • you lose money .. every item has a money value
  • you lose time .. when you are searching for the item that you lost
  • you lose your mind.. when you lost something important
  • you lose your security.. when the lost object is your wallet or home keys

And in the end, I ask you. Do you still think that losing items is so innocent?
